OMG! This Maruti Alto Is Not What You Think! (Watch Viral Video)

Auto Desk, New Delhi. Although car modification is an art form, it is banned in India, according to Indian law. A number of workshops focus specifically on exterior changes. While some workshops make small tweaks here and there, others entirely change the car's appearance at the customer's request.

To get the desired effects, a lot of workshops in India even fabricate or create unique panels. Here is one such video showing the complete transformation of a Maruti Alto 800 hatchback into an odd-looking vehicle.

Alto transforms into something else!

The Maruti Alto's front end was constructed in the workshop, and two round headlamps positioned vertically took its place. Metal has also been used to create the U-shaped, grey strip at the front. It even circles the headlamps that are positioned vertically.

As you move down, you will notice that the front bumper of the car has an air dam with LED turn indicators and fog lamps on either side. The automobile is equipped with aftermarket lights instead of original ones. We do not know if the vehicle has projector headlights installed or not. When it comes to the side profile, the workshop has worked very hard to entirely transform the look of the car.

Alloy wheels enhances the show

The car currently has 13-inch aftermarket alloy wheels, and the door handles are from the Alto. There is a little quarter panel, a roof that slopes slightly, turn signals, aftermarket tail lamps, a spoiler installed on the roof, and a space for the number plate at the back.

The car's bodywork appears rounded overall. Undoubtedly, the factory has made every effort to ensure that the design is correct. The workshop appears not to have given the interiors any thought, while having worked significantly on the façade.

The inside is rather simple, with door pads covered in leatherette and stitched in a diamond pattern. Light blue and black were used as the dual-tone finish for the whole interior. Custom seat covers and an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system have been added. The original Alto's dashboard is still the same.

Overview on the upgrade

The Smart Roadster Coupe's exterior has been accurately replicated by the workshop. For the interiors, though, the same cannot be stated. With the few resources at their disposal, they have tried their hardest. Pre-built body kits are used by many workshops for these kinds of modifications.

Here, every panel was created internally, which is an enormous undertaking in and of itself. The film makes no indication of how long or how much it will cost to build this project. We have already come across similar videos on the internet. There are instances where people have genuinely constructed Lamborghinis out of Honda Civic sedans, and a Pakistani video purporting to be of a Rolls Royce has also gone viral.

LED upgrades makes it different

As you move down, you will notice that the front bumper of the car has an air dam with LED turn indicators and fog lamps on either side. The automobile is equipped with aftermarket lights instead of original ones. We do not know if the vehicle has projector headlights installed or not.

When it comes to the side profile, the workshop has worked very hard to entirely transform the look of the car. The car's side aspect differs greatly from the front and bears no resemblance to the parent vehicle. Like the Smart Roadster, the door is surrounded by a white strip that is as tall as the vehicle. A two-door Maruti Alto has replaced the old four-door model.
