Haryana News:  INLD fields candidates on three seats, another daughter-in-law of Chautala family to contest against uncle-in-law Ranjit  Chautala

Chandigarh. With the announcement of Lok Sabha elections, the ruling and opposite parties are gearing up for polls as well as mulling over every possible strategy to win the forthcoming battle in Haryana.  In this series, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has declared its 3 candidates on Thursday remaining undecided on 7 Lok Sabha seats.

The party has fielded INLD general secretary and sole party MLA Abhay Singh Chautala from Kurukshetra seat, while Sunaina Chautala, daughter-in-law of the Chautala family has been fielded from Hisar in the Lok Sabha elections. Notably,  she is  wife of Ravi Chautala and daughter in law  of Pratap Chautala,  brother of former Chief Minister OP Chautala,  Similarly, Gurpreet Singh has been given ticket from the reserved Ambala seat. It is pertinent to mention  that two of  Chautala family members are already contesting the elections from Hisar Lok Sabha seat.

INLD's arch rival JJP's MLA and the mother of former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala,  Naina Chautala and her uncle-in-law OP Chautala's brother and cabinet minister Ranjit Singh Chautala are eyeball to eyeball to win the battle. After, the INLD has fielded Sunaina on Hisar seat, it is going to be multi-cornered battle among the members of Chautala family.

Thus,  two daughters-in-law of Chautala family will challenge their uncle-in-law Ranjit Singh  in a battle of political supremacy and dominance as well  on Hisar seat which is considered to be one of the hottest seats in the state.

Till now, Congress has remained undecided in terms of finalization of  candidates due to the prevailing widened rift among the Bhupender SIngh Hooda and SRK faction incluing Kumari Selja, Randeep Singh Surjewala and Kiran Chaudhary and it is believed that Brijendra Singh, son of Birendra Singh, who bid a farewell to the BJP recently citing differences over several issue with the party's leadership and successfully contested Lok Sabha elections from Hisar in 2019 on BJP ticket, is in fray as strong contender for the Congress ticket.

However, discussions pertaining to fielding Jai Prakash,  close one to Bhupendra Singh Hooda are also surfacing. Abhay Singh Chautala himself will contest against Congress and AAP's joint candidate Sushil Gupta and BJP candidate Naveen Jindal.
