Haryana News: Randhir Singh resigns from the post of Chairman of Dairy Development Cooperative Federation

Chandigarh. Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) leader Randhir Singh who was appointed the  Chairman of Dairy Development Cooperative Federation about two and a half years ago in Haryana resigned from the post. Randhir Singh is the son of JJP's Guhla MLA Ishwar Singh who is among the party leaders believed to be upset with the party high command and the former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala. Randhir Singh along with his father is believed  the Congress party ahead of forthcoming parliamentary polls. It is pertinent to mention Ishwar Singh and  Congress stalwart  Kumari Selja who holds the post of General  Secretary of the party are on good terms.

Following the split between the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and the JJP have parted ways, Jogi Ram Sihag, A JJP MLA and several other Bigwigs have bid farewell to the party giving it setbacks.  Randhir's tenure was to be completed after 6 months i.e. till October.  Similarly, the talks pertaining to the resignation of JJP's another chairman Pawan Kharkhoda along with others are also surfacing continuously.

It is pertinent to mention that the BJP has parted its way with JJP over issue is seat sharing  in the Lok Sabha elections. Following the allegations of the JJP leaders including Dushyant Chautala and his brother Digvijay of corruption against the government, the BJP has now sought resignation from all the chairmen and law officers appointed from the JJP quota.

Under this, resignation was also sought from Ishwar Singh's son Randhir Singh. Following new developments, Randhir Singh  submitted his resignation from the post of Chairman of Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation to Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Rajesh Khullar meeting him personally .

Along with this, he has also resigned from the primary membership of JJP and  is preparing to contest assembly elections from his father's constituency Guhla. His wife is also the chairperson of Guhla Municipality. After becoming disillusioned with JJP, MLA Ishwar Singh wanted to join BJP before the Lok Sabha elections, but BJP closed the way for him. The reason was that during joining BJP, he had demanded ticket for his son and himself in the assembly elections, but BJP leaders clearly refused to accept his conditions.
