Heritage Foods: Chandrababu Naidu's family fortune surges, Wife's wealth jumps Rs 535 Crore in 5 Days

New Delhi. Heritage Foods, a company founded by Chandrababu Naidu, experienced remarkable growth following the electoral triumph of his party, TDP, in both the Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh assembly elections. Over the past five days, the shares of Heritage Foods have skyrocketed by 55 percent, resulting in a staggering increase of ₹535 crore in wealth for Mr. Naidu's wife, Nara Bhuvaneshwari, who holds a prominent position as a promoter within the company.

Rise just after announcement of Lok Sabha Election results

Nara Bhuvaneshwari, holding 2,26,11,525 shares, occupies the top position among the company's shareholders, as per BSE data. Additionally, Mr. Naidu's son, Nara Lokesh, holds 1,00,37,453 shares of Heritage Foods.

Following the surge in stock value, Mr. Lokesh's net worth also witnessed a substantial increase of ₹237.8 crore. The meteoric rise in share value commenced shortly after the announcement of Lok Sabha election results on June 4, with the TDP securing victory in 16 out of the 17 contested seats, playing a pivotal role in the overall success of the NDA coalition.

With the NDA emerging victorious with 293 seats in the 543-member Lok Sabha, the BJP—previously enjoying a comfortable majority in the preceding two terms—fell short, securing only 240 seats, thus failing to meet the required 272-seat threshold for forming a government.

Company recorded tremendous growth

The stock, which was trading at ₹424 on June 3, just hours before the announcement of the election results, has seen a substantial surge, with its current value standing at ₹661.25. Established by Chandrababu Naidu in 1992, Heritage Foods is lauded as "one of the fastest-growing public-listed companies in India," according to its official website.

With its operations spanning across two main divisions—dairy and renewable energy—Heritage Foods boasts a strong market presence for its milk and milk products in states such as Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Odisha, NCR Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh.
