Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Tripura Records the Highest Voting Percentage

New Delhi. The Election Commission of India announced dates for the 2024 Lok Sabha election through a press conference. Lok Sabha Elections 2024 are set to be held in 7 phases beginning on April 19 and ending on June 4.

A total of 543 Principal Constituencies will be set up throughout the elections. CEC Rajiv Kumar arrived at the press conference with Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu at 3 pm. On June 16, the current administration will come to an end.

Phase 1 will initiate the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on April 19 and will constitute 21 states and union territories namely, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, Manipur, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, West Bengal, Andaman Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Puducherry.

There will be a total of 102 principal constituencies in Phase 1 of the Lok Sabha Elections.

The voting will begin at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm (closure of poll timings may differ constituency-wise).
