Punjab News: Severe flooding in Dubai disrupts International Flights, Including Amritsar-Dubai Route

Chandigarh. Dubai is grappling with severe flooding that has caused significant disruptions to daily life and international travel. The ongoing floods have led to the cancellation of multiple flights, including the Amritsar-Dubai route for the second consecutive day, leaving passengers frustrated and inconvenienced.

Travellers have expressed disappointment over the sudden cancellations and the airline's lack of communication. Many passengers reported receiving notifications of flight cancellations just half an hour before the scheduled departure, despite adhering to the airport's two-hour check-in regulation. This last-minute notice has left numerous passengers stranded, uncertain, and scrambling to make alternative travel arrangements.

Compounding the issue, several passengers had connecting flights from Dubai to destinations like Canada and other international locations. The unforeseen cancellations have thrown a wrench into their meticulously planned itineraries, forcing them to seek alternative travel options. Many passengers have voiced their dissatisfaction with the airline's inadequate support and unclear guidance during this challenging time.
