Salman Khan Attack Plot Foiled: Police Nab Gang Members, Motive Unclear

New Delhi. In a major development, the Navi Mumbai Police on Saturday arrested four members of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang for allegedly plotting an attack on Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

What was the plan of attackers?

The accused planned to attack Salman Khan's car in Panvel. The attackers had skillfully conducted a recce of his house and farmhouse. Weapons which were to be used by attackers were allegedly ordered from Pakistan through a video call. Their plan to kill Salman Khan involved using minors to carry out the attack. They were then supposed to catch a boat and escape all the way to Sri Lanka.

Earlier incidents in Salman Khan's vicinity

This development comes weeks after a shooting incident outside Salman Khan's Bandra residence in April. Two men with alleged ties to the Bishnoi gang were arrested in connection with the shooting. A third accused died while in police custody.

Arrests and investigation

Four members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang have been arrested in connection to the alleged plot to kill the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The people who have been caught has been identified as Dhananjay alias Ajay Kashyap, Gaurav Bhatia alias Nahvi, Waspi Khan alias Wasim Chikna and Rizwan Khan alias Javed Khan.

Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered against 17 people linked to the case, including Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol Bishnoi, Sampat Nehra and Goldy Brar. The police officials are investigating the extent of the gang's involvement and potential accomplices.
