UP man Shoots mother, attacks wife with hammer, throws children from roof

Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. In a tragic incident, 6 people of same family died in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. According to the report, the youth brutally murdered the mother, wife and children. The accused shot his mother dead and killed his wife by killing her with a hammer. The incident took place in Palhapur village of Mathura police station area. 

What police has said

Regarding this incident, SSP Sitapur Chakresh Mishra said, 'Today, Rampur Police in Mathura received information that a mentally ill person, named Anurag Singh (age- 45 years), had allegedly shot himself. Before that he murdered 5 members of his family. Police and FSL team are investigating further.

Threw three children from roof

After this, the accused threw his three children from the roof due to which they also died. After killing five members of the family, the accused committed suicide by shooting himself. According to initial reports, the accused was a drug addict and was mentally disturbed.

Victims identification

In Palhapur, Anurag Singh, son of farmer Virendra Singh, carried out this murder last night. Mentally disturbed Anurag Singh, mother Savitri Devi (62), wife Virendra Singh, wife Priyanka Singh (40), daughter Ashvi (12), son Anurag and daughter Arna (08) died on the spot. Aadvik (04) died during treatment in the trauma center.

After committing the incident, Anurag Singh (45) himself committed suicide. As soon as information about the incident was received in the morning, there was chaos in the entire village. However, the reason is still not clear why he committed such type of crime.
