Google Pixel 9 Pro: Unveiling the Rumored Specs and Features

Tech Desk, News Delhi. Google is all set to launch three new phones in the fall of 2024. These phones are the Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. The release rumour has caused a buzz about the series and speculations about its features and price.

The speculated date for the launch is somewhere around the first week of October. The confirmation of the launch date would most probably happen in August or September.

Price and availability

Google Pixel 9 Pro is expected to be priced at Rs 95,000 and available in black, blue and more colours.

Processing Power

Google Tensor G3 or G4 processor, offering improved performance and efficiency.

Display

Sources differ on the size, ranging from a 6.1-inch to a 6.5-inch OLED display.
All sources agree on a high resolution (likely FHD+ or QHD+) and a smooth 120Hz or even 144Hz refresh rate.

Camera

This is where things get interesting. Some sources point to a triple rear camera system with a powerful 108MP main sensor, accompanied by 50MP and 16MP secondary sensors.
Others suggest a triple 50MP setup for all rear cameras.
Up front, a 24MP selfie camera is rumored.

Other Features

Plenty of RAM – sources suggest 12GB.
Storage options may vary, with 128GB, 256GB, or even 512GB possibilities.
A large battery, ranging from 5000mAh to 5500mAh, with fast charging capabilities.
Android 14 pre-installed.

It's rumoured that this will be the first time a Pixel phone gets three rear cameras of 108 MP, 50 MP, and 16 MP, and a front camera of 24 MP. There's expected to be a telephoto lens and two other sensors that are not known currently.

Equipped with a full HD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the display is rumored to be 6.3-inch, 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5mm, flat, slightly curved towards the edges, with rounded corners and a pill-shaped camera with larger sensors on the back. 

Android 15 is expected to be pre-installed on the device with a Google Tensor G4. With 16 GB of RAM and 514 GB of storage. The battery is rumoured to be 5500 mAh with fast charging.
