New Delhi. Google has unveiled a new affordable A-series phone called the Pixel 8a. The Pixel 8a, the successor to last year’s Pixel 7a, offers improved hardware, a slightly new design, a price increase and more. So what’s new about the Pixel 8a over the Pixel 7a? The Pixel 8a has a slightly larger battery than the 7a, with a capacity of 4,492 mAh versus 4,385 mAh. Both phones support fast and wireless charging, but the 8a can charge slightly faster with 24W wired charging than the 7a with 18W. One area where the Pixel 8a has made significant improvements over the Pixel 7a is the camera. The 8a has a larger sensor and a 64MP main camera with a 13MP ultra-wide camera. It offers improved ultra-high definition zoom capability of up to 8x, compared to the 7x of the 7a. The Pixel 7a, on the other hand, has a 64 MP main camera and a 13 MP ultra-wide camera. Both phones can record 4K video at up to 60fps. The 8a also comes with new camera features like Magic Editor and Magic Eraser.
