Tesla cars may soon offer integrated X functionality

Tech Desk, News Delhi. Elon Musk, the CEO of X (formerly known as Twitter), SpaceX, and Tesla, announced today that Tesla car owners will soon have an integrated experience with the X social media platform. In response to a follower's query about integrating the X app into Tesla cars, Musk replied, "Coming soon."

This development implies that electric car owners will be able to access X through a software update in the Tesla user interface (UI).

A Musk follower expressed enthusiasm about this integration, stating, "That is really good news. At the moment, I can’t read X notifications on my iPhone while on FSD (full self-driving) without getting a nag. Native ecosystem integration will be way better. How will the Tesla UI look for X?"

However, not everyone welcomed the idea. One X user criticised the move, commenting, "Waste of engineering time. There’s no way anybody can actively use the application while they are driving, and it is uncomfortable to use in terms of typing because your back has to twist very weirdly. The only use for it is spaces, and you can’t even pause that."

Some social media users also urged Musk to integrate Grok AI into Tesla cars. "Don't forget Grok inside the Tesla fleet too," commented a Musk follower.

In related news, Elon Musk, who had plans to visit India for a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and to announce Tesla's entry into the South Asian market, has reportedly postponed his trip. The reasons for the postponement remain unclear, as Tesla and the Prime Minister's Office did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
